Maritzburg United have experienced something of an injury hoodoo this season, with the likes of Nhlanhla Vilakazi, Delron Buckley, David Booysen, Ashley Hartog and Mohamed Yakubu all being ruled out at various stages.
However, the situation could be about to be remedied as the club have an almost two-week break before their next game against Platinum Stars on October 6.
This means that the Team of Choice will have extra time for some of their key players to return to fitness.
The latest pair to suffer injury setbacks were Hartog and Yakubu, during the club's recent 1-1 draw with Moroka Swallows.
The Siya crew contacted United's Commercial Manager, Younus Kadodia, to find out the full extent of the injuries to the pair.
He said, "Ashley and Yakubu both came off against Swallows due to injury. We're still determining how serious those two injuries are. Ashley did something to his hamstring and Yakubu did something to his calf. They're going for scans to find out the extent of the injuries. We also have time before our next game to evaluate some of our other injuries as well."
