Maritzburg United are said to be expecting a response from Wits today on whether or not a loan deal for right winger, Bhongolwethu Jayiya, to join the club can still take place. United had earlier revealed they were interested in bringing in the player on loan as they looked to re-inforce their squad ahead of some testing games in 2014.

Wits are reportedly open to letting the player go out on loan as he hasn't been a regular in Gavin Hunt's first-11 this season, however they insist it will only be a short term agreement as the 23-year-old still has a part to play in their future plans.
The Siya crew understands that a few other PSL clubs are also interested in bringing the player in on loan, although at this stage it's unclear where his next port of call until June will be.
Nonetheless, United's Commercial Manager, Farouk Kadodia, explained that a decision on the player's immediate future is likely to be reached sometime later today.
He said, "We're still awaiting feedback. It's true we have sent Wits a proposal to bring Jayiya in on loan. We should know today because there have been a couple of proposals made by other clubs. We should know by the end of the day if they want to do a deal or not with us."
