Bloemfontein Celtic goalkeeper, Bongani Mpandle, has signed a two-year extension to his contract.
The 21-year-old player joined the club at the beginning of the season and is seen as a bright prospect for the future.He is said to have done very well at training since he became part of the Celtic set-up, as he vies for a starting place between the sticks alongside the likes of Patrick Tignyemb, Thembalethu Moses and Thato Haraba.
The new deal will see Mpandle, who has played for the Mamelodi Sundowns juniors before, staying on at the club until June 2016.
Celtic’s Technical Director, Mich D’Avray, confirmed the news to the Siya crew, saying, “Yes, that’s right, he’s extended his contract for two more years.”
