The South African Football Association has confirmed referees Victor Hlungwani and Phillip Shumani Tinyani are set to retire.
Hlungwani made his official Premier Soccer League debut in a Nedbank Cup encounter between Santos and Island FC during the 2002/2003 season.
Tiyani, meanwhile, came onto the refereeing scene a season later and has enjoyed a 19-year career compared to Hlungwani's 20.
SAFA chair of referee Natasha Tsichlas has thanked both Hlungwani and Tiyani for their services to the South African game over the past two decades.
"On behalf of SAFA President, Dr Danny Jordaan and the football fraternity, I would like to thank the two for their professionalism and dedication to the game," Tsichlas said, via Safa.net
"I hope with their wealth of experience, SAFA will continue to utilise their experience in producing the future generation of referees."
