Last season’s PSL rookies, University of Pretoria, will welcome Craig Rosslee’s AmaZulu side for their league encounter tomorrow at Absa Tuks Stadium.
Steve Barker’s side is placed on position 15 with eight points after 10 games, however Tuks midfielder, Siyabonga Ngubane, says tomorrow’s game is a must win for them. The Pietermaritzburg-born midfielder told the Siya crew that losing to Polokwane City last Sunday was a huge blow for the side.
“We are not happy with the way we lost the game against City but we have to move on and focus on our next game against AmaZulu. We just have to rectify our errors and ensure we play better. Their morale is high following their mid-week win against Platinum Stars, obviously they’ll want to carry on where they left off. The game will not be easy but we are playing at home and we must pull all the stops to win it.
“We must take the three points and use our home advantage. Things are not going our way this season and our performance wasn’t bad but it’s just that goals are not coming. You’ll notice that we haven’t been losing by a 3-0 margin, we are concerned but we will turn around the corner. We just need to work on our positives and push harder,” said Ngubane.
