Tuks Aiming For Glory

University of Pretoria midfielder Siyabonga Ngubane has vowed to make life difficult for Moroka Swallows in their Telkom Knockout game this Saturday in Dobsonville.

The Mamelodi Sundowns player is currently on loan at Amatuks and has revealed to the Siya Crew that everything is going well as far as preparations are concerned.

“We are not focusing on the opposition at the moment. Our main objective is to ensure we iron out the errors we picked up in our previous game against Arrows. Our coach does not dwell too much on the opposition but focuses on our strengths,” revealed Ngubane.

Having started five out of six games this season and coming on as a substitute in their first game against Moroka Swallows away (which they lost 1-0),  Ngubane remains optimistic of a win.

“This is our second season in the top flight league and we aim to win something as a reward. We are not doing badly so far and I’m satisfied with how I have played. The coach seems to have faith in my abilities and we are fortunate to go into this encounter with no casualties,” Ngubane told the Siya Crew.

Nevertheless, the 24-year-old midfielder added that Swallows is a big team with experienced players, but on Saturday the Tuks teams' eyes will be set on winning the game and progressing to the next stage of the cup.

“It’s not going to be an easy game, especially considering that we are playing in Dobsonville, but we aim to play our normal game and win this one,” concluded Ngubane.
