The new boys on the Dstv Premiership block, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, have made one more signing from a Gauteng club.
According to Siya sources, goalkeeper Washington Arubi has signed for the Limpopo-based outfit, putting pen to paper on a two-year contract.
With their first match since successfully buying the top flight status of Bidvest Wits scheduled for October 17 against SuperSport United in the MTN8 at the Thohoyandou Stadium, the rookies are racing against time to beef up.
Coincidentally, Arubi arrives from SuperSport having left a free agent when his contract expired on June 30 – and will add some much needed experience.
TTM have been issuing clearances for several of the Wits players who weren’t keen to relocate to Venda, with others still in talks with the club over their release.
Oupa Manyisa and Joseph Molangoane, who were on the books of Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs, respectively, have been confirmed as new signings by TTM.
Arubi, 35, has also played for Stellenbosch FC and the University of Pretoria in the past and has 13 caps for the Zimbabwe national team.
