Moroka Swallows have received a major boost ahead of next week's Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs with the news that captain Lefa Tsutsulupa has recovered from his injury.
As reported by the Siya crew, Tsutsulupa has started light training last week after recovering from the injury he suffered injury during Swallows' 3-1 loss to SuperSport United in the Telkom Knockout in October last year.
Now the crew can reveal that the Swallows skipper has started full training and will be ready to play when the Birds take on Kaizer Chiefs on 31 January.
Tsutsulupa confirmed to the crew that he is back to full fitness.
“I’m back to full training now. I’m just working on my fitness and in no time, I’ll be ready to compete for my place in the team,” said Tsutsulupa.
Swallows coach Zeca Marques also confirmed to the crew that Tsutsulupa is back in the team.
“Lefa is fine. He has recovered,” said Marques.
Swallows will take on Chiefs in a Soweto derby at Dobsonville Stadium on Friday, 31 January.
