Bloemfontein Celtic will be without the services of Tsietsi Mahoa when they take on SuperSport United at Kaizer Sebothelo today.
The Tembisa-born star has accumulated four yellow cards, and will be suspended for the clash against his former team. This will surely come as a blow to Ernst Middendorp’s side, which has been doing relatively well defensively since the German mentor took over shortly after the season began.
Mahoa has started 16 league games and come on as a substitute once, meaning this is the fourth game he won’t be featuring in for Celtic this season.
It is expected that Middendorp could be forced to use young Tumelo Mogapi in Mahoa’s absence, with the 25-year-old having started four league games so far and making an appearance off the bench against Polokwane City last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Phunya Sele Sele will be keen to extend their unbeaten run in all competitions to five games, while Cavin Johnson’s side will want to cause an upset in the Free State.
