Word reaching the Siya crew is that Platinum Stars defender, Rofhiwa Tshikovhi, has joined Polokwane City on a six month loan deal.
Tshikovhi’s agent, Ratshibvumo Mulovhedzi, of Rush Hour Sports Management confirmed to the Siya crew that the 25-year-old defender has joined 'Rise and Shine'.
“Yes, it’s true that Rofhiwa has joined Polokwane City. He played for them in the friendly against Wits on Tuesday,” said Mulovhedzi.
“It was not easy to convince Stars to let him go on loan because they wanted him to continue to fight for his place in the team. As a result, they have made it clear to City that they want him back at the end of the season,” added Mulovhedzi.
A host of PSL teams including Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be after the services of the former Jomo Cosmos defender, but Dikwena are not ready to release him.
As reported by the crew earlier, Ajax Cape Town had their offer for the 25-year-old defender turned down by Stars.
Other teams rumoured to be interested in Tshikovhi are Golden Arrows and Free State Stars.
