Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have commented on the exit of defender Lorenzo Gordinho, who opted to sign with an overseas club after finishing the season with Bidvest Wits.
As reported by the Siya crew earlier today, the former Kaizer Chiefs player has signed with Danish First Division club, Viborg FF.
TTM chairman Lawrence Mulaudzi – having taken over the ownership of Wits after buying the club’s topflight status – has expressed his delight at seeing the 26-year-old cenre-back move to Europe.
“While Lorenzo would have been an important part of our plans at TTM, we could not prevent him from realizing his dream of playing abroad and wish him all the success at his new club. TTM’s philosophy is to ensure that we enhance the careers of our footballers by supporting them in their endeavours to challenge themselves overseas,” said Mulaudzi, in a statement.
Meanwhile, Prosport International CEO Mike Makaab, who is the player’s representative, has thanked the Chairman for the professional manner in which TTM handled the transaction and the company’s partner in Denmark for assisting in concluding the deal.
