Soccer Laduma has learnt with sadness about the death of former Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC player Khunadi Nkoana.
Having come through the Transnet School of Excellence when he started out, Nkoana went on to play for Baroka FC, Chippa United and Black Leopards among other clubs in his professional career.
The attacking midfielder had been with TTM since 2017, before moving to Limpopo-based ABC Motsepe League side Magesi FC, and was only 28 years old at the time of his passing.
Details of his passing are still sketchy though alleged suicide is not being ruled at this stage.
Nkoana was part of the Baroka squad that shocked big clubs Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows by knocking them out of the Nedbank Cup in 2011 as a Vodacom (now ABC Motsepe) League team under their then coach Sello Chokoe, who is currently the CEO of TTM.
Soccer Laduma sends condolences to Nkoana’s family and loved ones during this difficult time of bereavement.
