A former Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC coach has offered advice to the Limpopo club for their first season in the top-flight.
Having worked with the team briefly last season as their head coach while in the second tier from December 2019 to March this year, Vladislav Heric noted some areas that the team need to improve on.
One of those areas, which is a major one for a football club, is in the management side of things.
Speaking to the Siya crew prior to when he was appointed as the coach of Cape Town Spurs, the Serbian mentor said he experienced difficulties in carrying out his duties.at the Limpopo outfit.
“They have to make radical reform in a management point otherwise it’s going to be tough. They struggle and they had a lot of problems in managing the team in the NFD and we all know what the PSL is all about. They have to restructure, and they have to include people with PSL experience and that is the only way I will see them succeeding,” Heric told the Siya crew.
“We struggled with training facilities and I believe that could be the main obstacle for a PSL club. Look, training is vital, and we all know that. It’s the most important form of preparation for the game. They will probably build something; I don’t know how they are looking into that. They definitely have to have a proper structure and see what the possibilities are to remain in the PSL and to establish themselves, you know how it goes in the PSL there are certain things and certain objectives that people have to look at as the PSL is much more professional than the NFD,” the experienced coach added.
