Former AmaZulu midfielder Nyiko Tshabangu is still in search of a club where he can ply his trade this season.
Tshabangu had an unsuccessful stay with AmaZulu due to a lack of game time last season, with the 24-year-old having spent only one season with the KZN club, after joining from Wits at the beginning of the 2012/13 campaign.
The Soweto-born player will be able to join a team of his choice as a free agent, after reaching an agreement with Usuthu to terminate his contract. The player’s agent, Ali Tlhoaele, confirmed to the Siya crew that they are looking for a club.
“Nyiko Tshabangu is still in search for a team. He and my other players Prince Hlela and Luyanda Hlongwa terminated their contracts with AmaZulu amicably,” said Tlhoaele.
Hlela and Hlongwa have been snapped up by Polokwane City, as was revealed by the Siya crew on Tuesday.
