Kaizer Chiefs defender, Tsepo Masilela, is expected to be fit to face Bloemfontein Celtic later this month after returning to full training last week.
The 29-year-old left back had to miss out on the Bafana Bafana squad for the 2015 African Cup of Nations due to a heel injury, consequently missing a number of training sessions with his club.
Now, however, the Siya crew has been informed that Masilela is on his way back to full fitness, and featured in the Amakhosi’s friendly games in the Western Cape over the weekend.
Masilela, despite being plagued by injuries over the past few seasons, has managed to play every minute of every single Amakhosi game in all competitions this season so far, something that is a credit to both the player and the Chiefs’ medical team.
With Chiefs set to face Celtic on February 11th when the PSL resumes, the full-back will be keen to make sure that he keeps up the impressive form that he showed in the Glamour Boys’ unbeaten first half of their league campaign.
