AmaZulu FC coach Brandon Truter feels Royal AM have been a good football team for a while even after the status was bought from Bloemfontein Celtic.
John Maduka has done an unthinkable job with the Durban-based side after a very shaky start, and has managed to turn Royal into the team to beat this season.

As they host Masandawana in the last four of the competion on Saturday, Usuthu mentor Truter is of the opinion that Maduka has been underrated for some time and is proving his worth at the PSL newbies.
"What I find with Royal AM, with no disrespect to anyone, the technical team they have, has been around for some time, been in this situation before but so understated," Truter told the media.

"When they took over from Steve Komphela at Bloemfontein Celtic, everybody said it was Steve's work but even here at Royal AM, they stlll play good football."
Truter feels the upcoming game will definitely be a good advertisement for South African football and wishes his longtime friend Manqoba Mgqithi the best of luck against a tricky Royal AM.
Gordon Igesund gives his thoughts on VAR and whether it has the desired impact to improve football.
"John Maduka and Abraham know what they doing and they faced Sundowns before in the Nedbank Cup final with Celtic and majority of these players are still with them. I'm sure John would want to get this one. Good luck to him and my friend Manqoba Mngqithi, it will be a good advertisement for South African football."
