Bloemfontein Celtic also confirmed the signing of several new players, with the likes of Kaizer Chiefs’ Lucky Baloyi and Cape Town City’s Given Mashikinya joining Siwelele.
As confirmed yesterday, Chiefs currently have Argentinian trialist, Jonathan Phillipe, being assessed by Head Coach Steve Komphela and his technical team.
Maritzburg United edged Mamelodi Sundowns to the signing of the goalkeeper, Richard Ofori, despite the player recently being assessed by Head Coach Pitso Mosimane and his technical team.
Sundowns, on the other hand, has still not confirmed a single new signing ahead of the new 2017/18 season, however, with several weeks still to go in the transfer window period, it remains to be seen who Mosimane will look to add to his books.
