Cuthbert Malajila, Fiston Abdul Razak, Mogakolodi Ngele, Mario Booysen and Thela Ngobeni will all report back to Masandawana following their loan stints with the likes of Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United. A decision on the immediate future of these players is expected to be made soon.

Chiefs confirmed the signings of three new faces this week, namely, Bhongolethu Jayiya, Teenage Hadebe and Philani Zulu.

City acquired the services of Ayanda Patosi, Joao Pedro Mussica and Lyle Lakay, while looking to complete a deal for Teko Modise.

Lastly, Wits have brought five new faces on board at the club after completing the signing of Steven Pienaar, Daylon Claasen, Kobamelo Kodisang and Slavko Damjanovic, while also welcoming Thato Thlone to the club after the player penned a pre-contract with the Students in January.

Now, it remains to be seen whether these four clubs will announce more new signings in the coming weeks.

The chiefs we hoping for does not exist let's all be honest, we all know that the forces of sundowns, wits, supersport we can't complete with them Steve kompela transformed us to the level of marisburg and free state stars, the payers are joining chiefs bcoz they see the opportunities to play real there is nothing big about kaizer chiefs any more now the players are beginning to feel pressure when it comes to join wits, sundowns and supersport bcoz of tight competition.

Absa Premiership teams Orlando Pirates and AmaZulu are on a race to sign Jomo Cosmos defender, Frederic Nsabiyumva, Phakaaathi has learnt. The hard tackling 22-year-old Burundian central defender is said to have impressed both teams and could join either early next week. “I think it will depend on the player because Jomo has told him that he doesn’t have a problem with him leaving and is awaiting on the teams to make offers. He will take any offer just as long as the player is happy with it,” said a source. The Buccaneers could however win the race because they will offer Ezenkosi a few players on top of the money. “There are two or three players Pirates are looking at offering Cosmos in exchange and that will put them in good stead to land the defender,” added the source. Nsabiyumva has captained Ezenkosi for the past three years and has always been a solid performer. The Buccaneers are said to be looking to beef up their defence which has been hugely criticised for the team’s disastrous showing over the past two seasons.
