Busy Transfer Period, Argentinean, Josephs & Co Confirmed For AmaZulu
Top Signings Reinforcing AmaZulu Squad
It looks likes the July/August transfer window is going to be a busy period for AmaZulu, with the KwaZulu-Natal outfit seemingly keen on strengthening the team massively for next season.
AmaZulu, who did fairly well in their first season back in the PSL with their nine wins and 11 draws from 30 league matches, have already started luring some top players to join Cavin Johnson’s squad for the new season.
As confirmed to the Siya crew by the Durban club’s team manager Qedi Dlamini, three top signings have already been concluded by the side.
Dlamini confirmed that Argentinean striker Emiliano Tade is on his way to join Usuthu, alongside with Moeneeb Josephs and Nhlanhla Vilakazi, who are the two players that will be coming from Bidvest Wits and Free State Stars respectively.
Tade is seen as a replacement for former Kaizer Chiefs striker Camaldine Abraw, who has parted ways with AmaZulu.
Dlamini says of the Argentine’s signing, “Yeah, he is an AmaZulu player. He will be joining us from the 1st of July. We followed him from the games he played and he looks likes he’s going to be a good acquisition.”
Tade has been playing for Auckland City in New Zealand since 2015. In other news from AmaZulu, Boalefa Pule is on his way back to SuperSport United.
The goalkeeper has been at Usuthu on loan from Matsatsantsa since the beginning of the season.
