While admitting that he is enjoying his quality family time at the moment and not feeling the disruption of the COVID-19 in football just yet, local football agent Palesa Mkhize says that he is worried of what will happen after the next 21 days, after President Cyril Ramaphosa announced earlier in the week that the country will go into lockdown for 21 days from midnight today (Thursday) in line with the attempts to stop the spread of the disease.
“Well, it hasn’t hit us (very much) yet. We’ll see after the 21 days period, because right now nothing is really happening as no club is running. This is the time to really focus on the well-being of our loved ones and everyone in the world,” Mkhize told the Siya crew.
Orlando Pirates midfielders Ben Motshwari and Linda Mntambo are some of the players under Mkhize’s management, while the agent has previously handled the likes of former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Hendrick ‘Pule’ Ekstein, which included his overseas move after the skilful player left Amakhosi.
