Polokwane City forward, Puleng Tlolane, has honoured coach Boebie Solomons and also insisted that the seasoned tactician is the right man to take Rise and Shine forward.
Speaking to the cub’s website, Tlolane, revealed that 'Rise and Shine' will have a bright start ahead of their clash against Platinum Stars at home on February 4.
Tlolane said City will be in perfect shape for the season restart when the team will be looking to haul themselves up the ABSA Premiership table. This season’s rookies played a few friendlies, one against Orlando Pirates and United FC, and the Zebediela-born player said the team will benefit from these games.
“Coming back from the festive break has given the players much needed rest, the mini pre-season is going well and we have made progress on improving our overall game. I think Coach Boebie Solomons has made sure that we prepare well for the upcoming second round of the season.
These friendlies have made us realise what the coach wants us to do and how to do it. I applaud his efforts and think he is a great coach and a father figure to all of us. If there was anyone to lead us forward it is definitely Solomons,” said the 25-year old.
The PSL rookies are currently sitting in position 13, with 15 points from 15 games.
