TS Galaxy owner Tim Sukazi has spoken on the exit of marksman Rodney Ramagelela who has left the club just weeks after modeling their new kit.
The PSL newcomers, who purchased the top flight status of Highlands Park, last week unveiled their full squad, which included 13 new signings ahead of the 2020/21 campaign.
There were questions raised after the 31-year-old was not among the players unveiled by the club. At the time Sukazi was reluctant to speak on the matter.
Now, the former football intermediary has broken his silence on RamaG's exit at the club, despite having two years left on his contract.
“Rodney Ramagalela met with his management team in the past week, looking at his own situation and personal circumstances, we came in to an amicable situation to part ways. These things do happen in these type of environments. When people are unable to find each other in certain areas, they agree to part ways. It is not only Rodney. It happened with other like Wayde Jooste, Thela Ngobeni and Ryan Rae. These things do happen,” Sukazi told the club's official website.
Sukazi also touched on the exit of former goalkeeper Ludwe Mpakumpaku, who has also parted ways with the club.
“Ludwe started with the team. He went in to the base camp with the club for our preparations for the upcoming season but then he came to realize that he will be a third or fourth choice. He wants to play as a number one. From the goalkeepers that we have, that is not possible,” Sukazi detailed.
“That is why the technical team let him go so that he could find opportunities at the club where he will play as a number one,” he added.
