Mpumalanga Black Aces forward, Thulasizwe ‘Juju’ Mbuyane, says he has nothing to prove against his former team, Orlando Pirates.
Juju could get the chance to face his former team for the first time when Aces take on Pirates at Orlando Stadium tonight.
“In all honestly, I have nothing to prove against Pirates, because I left them because I wanted to leave. It’s not like I was pushed out of the club or something, so I really have nothing to prove,” Mbuyane told the Siya crew.
“My priority now is to do well for my team. So, I would be happy if I could get the chance to play against Pirates tonight. I just want to help my team to win the game.
“We have done well during the last couple of game and it would be nice to keep that momentum going, hence we’re going to Orlando seeking a win against Pirates. It’s not going to be easy, but we’re up for the challenge,” added Mbuyane.
Mbuyane is not sure if he will do his famous Juju dance or not if he scores against Pirates.
“I don’t know if I will do it or now. Let’s wait and see,” concluded Mbuyane.
Pirates and Aces will meet at Orlando Stadium tonight at 19h30.
