Three former players in Mzansi’s topflight have united in Mpumalanga to coach a club in the third tier league.
Following his spell as the coach of Passion FC in the ABC Motsepe League in Mpumalanga, having retired from playing in 2015, former Ajax Cape Town and Orlando Pirates defender Lizo Mjempu has surfaced at FC Bayern as the coach of the side.
The former left-back has been joined in his technical team at the club by ex-AmaZulu midfielder Sibusiso Hadebe who is his assistant coach, as well as former Mpumalanga Black Aces goalkeeper Bafana Nhlapo who will be serving as the goalkeeper coach.
Mjempu left Passion earlier this year, following the arrival of former Baroka coach Kgoloko Thobejane at the club.
Meanwhile, Nhlapo previously had a coaching spell with Royal Eagles in the second tier, while Hadebe was last seen playing for Uthongathi in 2018.
