Both Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits will be without starting players for their clashes with Kaizer Chiefs and Polokwane City respectively, however, Cavin Johnson and Gavin Hunt will feel they have substantial backup.
Wits take on Rise & Shine this evening as they look for their fourth win in a row, while Dikwena travel to Kaizer Chiefs on Wednesday looking to bounce back from their 2-0 defeat to Chippa United.
Meanwhile, there are already six other players on two yellow cards and close to a one-game ban, with the likes of Buhle Mkhwanazi, Cuthbert Malajila, Vincent Kobola, Roland Putsche, Tiyani Mabunda and Morgan Gould all just two bookings away from suspension.
With 48 yellow cards and three reds shown already this season, despite it being so early in the campaign, 2016/17 could be a year where the PSL's referees really earn their money.
