The Latest Absa Premiership Suspensions
As we get December’s Absa Premiership games underway, three teams will be missing key players for their clashes this week.
There are now just 28 league games left in 2017 as yet another year comes to a close, and at this point, not a single team in the league is so tight that no team can be completely considered out of consideration for the title.
Bidvest Wits, who are the bottom of the table, are just 10 points behind log leaders, Baroka, and a good run of form for any club would see them rocket up the standings.
With all 16 teams playing either this evening or tomorrow, most players have now served their suspensions, leaving just three players missing in action. Tonight’s matches are suspension free.
Phumlani Gumede, of AmaZulu, is still suspended following his red card against Kaizer Chiefs last month, while Cape Town City’s Thami Mkhize and Musa Bilankulu of Golden Arrows were both booked as they faced each other in their last game.
All three players will be back in action at the weekend for their penultimate games of the year.
