Malian International Arrives At Kaizer Chiefs
There Is Another New Face At Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs have yet another new face at training at the moment, with a Malian international arriving on trial at Naturena.
The club have already announced the signing of Philani Zulu and Teenage Hadebe from Maritzburg United and Chicken Inn respectively, with the duo penning three-year contracts with the Glamour Boys following their moves.
It has also been reported by the Siya crew that Zimbabwean youngster, Tanaka Chinyahara, was training with Steve Komphela’s side as the Amakhosi head coach ran the rule over the former Bidvest Wits player.
Now there has been another fresh face spotted at Naturena, with the club posting a picture of a mystery number 47 training with them this week.
The crew have since been informed that the player is 22-year-old Malian centre back, Mahamadou Traore, who is a free agent after leaving Moroccan outfit, Chabab Rif Al-Hoceima, in the Botola Pro.
Traore is no stranger to South Africa having represented his country in Mzansi during the 2013 and 2014 African Nations Championships, and is seemingly eager to make a permanent move into the Absa Premiership.
The Malian, who is predominantly a centre back but can also play on the left side of defence, has spent the last two years in Morocco since leaving Djoliba AC in his home country.
It remains to be seen how long Traore will be given to impress at the club, but he will be keen to impress Komphela ahead of the 2017/18 season.
