The transfer window may be closed, but it’s thought that a new Absa Premiership signing will be finalised in the next few days…
It has been previously reported by the Siya crew that SuperSport United were closing in on the signature of Guily Manziba, who hails from the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the 23-year-old having spent some time now training with Kaitano Tembo’s side.
Now, having registered Kuda Mahachi as a local, following the acquisition of his Permanent Residence Permit, it has been revealed that the former Zanaco FC man is close to completing a move to Tshwane – with the club’s CEO, Stan Matthews, saying that they’re keen to get him playing soon.
Speaking in the latest issue of Soccer Laduma, Matthews said, “We’re still waiting on a few documents regarding Guily, but we’re confident that we can get things over the line in the next week or so that we can have him registered as soon as possible. He should give us something different in attack, and we’re looking forward to having him available hopefully this month.”
SuperSport currently have four foreign players registered, with Moses Thatayaone Waiswa, Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Ghampani Lungu and Evans Rusike all on their books at present.
