The PSL confirmed today that two Bidvest Wits players have been charged with misconduct for their part in allegedly assaulting referee, Masixole Bambiso, last week, and they will now have to wait and see what lies ahead.
Ricardo Goss and Sameehg Doutie were both seen involved in a fracas as Wits were beaten 2-0 by Cape Town City, with the latter seemingly pushing Bambiso in the back.
City's Mpho Makola was handed a lengthy six-month ban for pushing a match official earlier this season against Kaizer Chiefs, although had it reduced after appeal, and - if found guilty - the two Clever Boys could face a similar spell on the sidelines.
