Mathoho, 17 Others Suspended For Opening Round
Kaizer Chiefs defender, Erick Mathoho, heads the list of players and coaches suspended for the opening round of 16/17 PSL fixtures this week.
‘Tower’ wasn’t set to feature in the Amakhosi’s clash with Bidvest Wits this evening due to injury anyway, but it will mean that when he does return he does so with a clean slate.
Meanwhile, Ajax Cape Town will be without Roger de Sa on the bench tonight due to his suspension, and Abbubaker Mobara will have to wait a bit longer for his Orlando Pirates debut.
Also, though they aren’t in action on Tuesday or Wednesday, Mamelodi Sundowns will be without Thabo Nthethe for their first domestic game of the campaign.
