In accepting his award on Wednesday as the Player of the Month for February, Lorch promised improved performances for the Buccaneers in the remaining matches of the season, motivated by the accolade.
“I’m happy this award will improve my performance and my confidence for the remaining games. As you can see, we still have seven games (to play) in the league, so we have to push for the top. I’m happy and I would like to thank God first for the talent that he gave me, and my teammates for always pushing me to work for the team, and obviously my coaches for guiding me and for making me a better player,” Lorch said on Pirates’ social media accounts.
