Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder, Themba Zwane, has warned that one shouldn’t count Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Downs out of the title race.
With the big three clubs enduring somewhat shaky starts to the 2015/16 campaign and no team taking a firm grip on proceedings and opening a big gap at the top of the table the title race remains open.
The likes of Bidvest wits, Platinum Stars and Mpumalanga Black Aces have all made strong starts to the campaign, but Zwane has warned against writing off the 'Big Three' just yet.
'Mshishi' indicated that it is still too early in the season to say which teams will be involved in the title race and expects a challenging league campaign.
“It’s still too early to say which teams will be fighting for the league title but, if you look at Wits, they have started very well,” Zwane told Soccer Laduma.
“Platinum Stars and Black Aces have also started very well, but you can’t count out Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates or Sundowns, obviously.
“If you look at all these teams and the way they have been playing, it won’t be an easy season for any team at all, and for now it’s an open race.”
