Mpumalanga Black Aces midfielder, Themba Zwane, believes that the Bafana Bafana call-up presents him with a great opportunity to display his talents at international level.
Speaking to the official Aces website, Zwane said he intended to make the most of the opportunity that was given to him by Bafana coach, Gordon Igesund.
"It’s a precious moment for any player to wear the national team colours and represent his country. It’s a wonderful learning curve for me personally as it is my first time in the national team camp with the senior team. The spirit is high and the guys have been very welcoming to me,” said Zwane.
"’I’m really happy to be given a chance to represent my country. I think if I work hard, my stay in the Bafana team will be a success," added Zwane.
Meanwhile, Aces have wished Zwane well for his Australasian tour with Bafana Bafana.
Bafana will play international friendlies with Australia and New Zealand on May 26 and May 30, respectively.
