Free State Stars defender, Reuben Thebakang, is confident that his side is capable of doing well against Kaizer Chiefs in their league game this weekend.
Ea Lla Koto host the resurgent Amakhosi in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Charles Mopeli Stadium this afternoon.
Thebakang told the Siya crew that the team’s plan is to stop Chiefs from attacking them and to guard against set-pieces.
“We are prepared for the game. We know that Chiefs is a team that likes to play counter-attack football and we are prepared for them. We aren’t worried. We just have to prevent them from their counter-attacks and be careful when it comes to set-pieces. Another thing is that we tend to lose focus towards the end in most of our games against them. We tend to have lapses of concentration in the end. We are prepared to concentrate from the beginning to the end this time. I will try and push forward more often whenever I get a chance to create goals for the team. We have to create chances and score to win the game,” said Thebakang.
