Thebakang Injury Not Serious

Free State Stars defender, Reuben Thebakang, told the Siya crew that he expects to be back in full fitness for the team’s first game of the year against Bloemfontein Celtic in February.

Thebakang picked up a slight knock when the team played in the Prime Minister Charity Cup in Lesotho last weekend.

“I’m struggling with an ankle injury. I picked up a knock in Lesotho. I am doing certain training exercises on the side at the moment. But I should be fine in two weeks’ time,” said Thebakang.

The 26-year-old is one of the influential players for Ea Lla Koto this season, having missed only two games in the league so far in the 2013/14 season.
