The race to land Andile Jali’s signature is currently heating up, with Siya sources indicating that the player is edging closer to making a decision between Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs.
Jali’s next step in his professional career has been a hot topic in the football fraternity, with the crew revealing in the early stages that Sundowns, Chiefs and Orlando Pirates are all keen on his services.

However, it was recently revealed by the crew that Pirates are unlikely to push any harder for the player’s signature, with sources indicating that the Buccaneers are not willing to meet the midfielder’s financial demands.
Although Pirates are not completely out of the race to land Jali, at this point in time it seems that both Sundowns and Chiefs are currently leading the race for the 26-year-old’s signature.
Sources have since revealed to the crew that the player’s camp is currently negotiating financial terms with both clubs, indicating that a decision may be made based on their satisfaction in terms of figures.

Head Coach Pitso Mosimane recently confirmed to the media that the Brazilians are making progress in terms of discussions with Jali’s camp, while Chiefs are yet to officially make an announcement about their pursuit of the player.
However, as things stand, Jali and his camp are looking to come to the best decision regarding the player’s financial terms, as talks with both Sundowns and Chiefs gain momentum. While it seems unlikely that Pirates will pursue their interest much further, nothing can be ruled out as yet until the player puts pen to paper.
