PSL Respond To Sundowns Tapping Up Claims

Comitis sent out a strongly worded press release accusing Mosimane of tapping up his player, Aubrey Ngoma, by calling him directly and trying to tempt him to make a move to Chloorkop next season.
Ngoma still has three years left to run on his contract with the Citizens and Comitis spoke of how it was unacceptable for the Sundowns head coach to approach his player without speaking to the club.
Ashley Cole was involved in a tapping up disagreement in the past before his move from Arsenal to Chelsea, while Manchester City and Liverpool were both fined recently for tapping up young players.
The Siya crew spoke to PSL spokesperson, Luxolo September, to see if the league would be taking any action after Comitis’ claims, however, he explained to the crew that the league won’t be commenting on the matter.
It remains to be seen whether the matter will be taken further, or if Comitis’ hopes were just to ward off Mosimane from making future approaches.
