The PSL’s Unbeaten Quartet…

Even though there have only been four rounds of PSL action this season, 12 of the 16 teams have already tasted defeat. Which of the four remaining unbeaten sides can stay that way the longest?

SuperSport United, who currently top the PSL, have the best record in the league so far, dropping only two points in their first four games, with three wins to their name.

Cavin Johnson’s men drew 1-1 with Mpumalanga Black Aces in their last game, and with nine goals, have the highest goal tally in the league.

Next three PSL games:
Moroka Swallows (H)
AmaZulu (A)
Maritzburg United (A)

Mamelodi Sundowns have started their 2013/14 campaign well in Pitso Mosimane’s first full season as head coach, winning two of their three games and dropping points just once.

The Brazilians have played one less game than the league leaders and have conceded just two goals in their campaign so far.

Next three PSL games:
Ajax Cape Town (A)
Wits (H)
AmaZulu (H)

Wits have the same record as Sundowns, winning two and drawing one, and while they haven’t been prolific in front of goal, scoring just twice, they are yet to concede a goal.

Gavin Hunt’s side take on second placed AmaZulu tonight and if they win and other results go their way, they could end up on top of the log.

Next three PSL games:
AmaZulu (H)
Mamelodi Sundowns (A)
Polokwane City (H)

Platinum Stars are the fourth team in the log with their unbeaten status intact, although they currently sit in seventh place, having won just one of their four league games, while drawing three.

Allan Freese’s men have scored three and conceded two in their campaign so far this season, something that their head coach will be hoping they can change in the near future.

Next three PSL games:
University of Pretoria (H)
Kaizer Chiefs (A)
Mpumalanga Black Aces (H)

Which team do you think will be able to stay unbeaten the longest?
