PSL Statement Giving Ndoro/League Update

The Premier Soccer League have issued a statement announcing that the Absa Premiership will start on time next week after today's court case involving Ajax Cape Town.
The matter surrounding Tendai Ndoro - which has become known as Ndoro Gate - has been dragging on for months now with arguments being had over his eligibility, and Ajax took the matter to the High Court when it was decided that they would be docked points and consequently relegated.
Now, with a double withdrawal from the Urban Warriors today, the PSL has confirmed that the league will go ahead as planned.
A short statement read as follows -
The Premier Soccer League is able to confirm that:
1. Judge Fisher of the Gauteng High Court today granted the PSL leave to appeal against her judgement of 02 July 2018.
2. Ajax Cape Town withdrew their urgent application to interdict the start of the 2018/19 season in court and will pay the League’s costs of the application.
3. The 2018/19 season will go ahead as scheduled.
