PSL Respond To Latest Ajax Ndoro Matter

The Premier Soccer League Has Responded to Judge Denise Fischer's Ruling

By Soccer Laduma - Jul 02, 2018 02:30 PM

The Premier Soccer League has since responded to the Judge Denise Fischer’s ruling regarding Ajax Cape Town’s latest appeal.

Judge Fischer today ruled in favour of Ajax, which saw the Urban Warriors reinstated to 15th position on the Absa Premiership league standings, deeming the promotion/relegation play-offs results null and void.

The Premier Soccer League has since responded by saying:

“The Premier Soccer League has noted the judgement handed down by Judge Fisher in the Johannesburg High Court today.

"The relief that was sought from the Court was the setting aside of Advocate Mokhari SC’s misconduct award together with orders that Ajax Cape Town should be on the 15thposition on the final League table, and that the Promotion Play-offs be set aside.

"Judge Fisher set aside Advocate Mokhari’s award but declined to hand down the other relief sought. It is necessary for the League to properly consider the meaning and effect of the judgement before making any further comment on the matter.

"The judgement and advice of the League’s advisors will be considered by the PSL Executive Committee and the appropriate steps will be taken in due course.”

@nodlad even if the points docked from ajax they will still be no15 , the only reason they got relegated was the point the docked from them were given to other teams wich benefited platinum stars also . So if point are docked from ajax and not given to any1 they will be on 24 points same as platinum stars but with better goal deference

Ots long overdue. We all know that psl can afford 18 teams. Now is time to increase the pool plus our bfn bfn is not doing well this will be perceived as a change by increasing pool, we will expect atleast 18 goals per season. We will identify our weakness and strengthen call cowsmos in psl

Congraats to Ajax , FIFA must look at themselves (why Ndoro was issued with a clearance ) Psl too ( how Ndoro ended up being registered by Psl ).

There is only one solution which will avoid anyone involved going to court. With Ajax back in the premiership we have 17 teams now, PSL must add the second placed team from play-offs to make it 18 teams that will be Cosmos and if they still want 16 teams the following season three teams must be relegated. Please remove every administrator that is the owner of a PSL club under PSL board because it clear that there is a conflict of interest lana big time.

Now after dis fiasco, Khoza`s leadership is in jeopardy and under scrutiny. This judge Denise Fischer has ordered #PSL to refer dis matter to #FIFA, meanwhile fifa said can't handled it due to player has already played local team in Ajax.

Psl is very poor they don't know how to emerge FIFA rules. How can such a big league like psl allow this kind of case.

Dear PSL FIFA Must dock all three points for all matches Ndoro played including Pirates though they withdraw the case. But because they play him ilegal.they must get panished. Then ajax will be on number 16 on the log and case closed
