The Premier Soccer League has confirmed that six players will play no part in this weekend’s Absa Premiership fixtures.
Following no midweek action, the league will resume on Friday evening, with SuperSport United taking on Chippa United and Cape Town City welcoming Black Leopards to the Cape Town Stadium.
SuperSport, who will be eager to get back to winning ways, will go in to the encounter without Kudakwashe Mahachi due to suspension, while Chippa will also be without Gerald Modisane.
In the Mother City, The Citizens will be without two of their key players, as both Craig Martin and Taariq Fielies face suspension.
Martin will sit out the first of his two-match suspension after picking up two yellow cards in one match, resulting in a red, while Fielies accumulated four yellow card bookings.
In Soweto on Saturday, Orlando Pirates will host AmaZulu FC at the Orlando Stadium, although will also be without two key players in Ntsikilelo Nyauza and Abel Mabaso.
