The Premier Soccer League has confirmed eight suspensions for this weekend’s Absa Premiership action.
There are just under 10 matches left in the current Absa Premiership campaign and while Kaizer Chiefs are flying high at the top of the log, there are up to four teams still in the title race.
The bottom of the log tells a whole different story. Baroka FC, Black Leopards and AmaZulu FC are all joined on 20 points at the foot of the standings, although the KwaZulu-Natal outfit are right at the bottom on goal difference.
However, the race continues on both ends as the league resumes action this weekend. Although, as confirmed by the PSL, here are the seven players and one coach who will have to watch from the stands due to suspension:
AmaZulu FC - Sibusiso Magaqa
Black Leopards - Edwin Gyimah
Bloemfontein Celtic - Lucky Baloyi
Cape Town City - Ioannis Potouridis, Sjoerd Woudenberg (goalkeeper coach)
Chippa United - Augustine Kwem
Highlands Park - Sifiso Mbhele
Polokwane City - Kabelo Mahlasela
