With June 30, quickly approaching, Soccer Laduma takes a look at players who have had their deals extended at the club in the past month.
Clubs in the Absa Premiership will be looking to make changes to their squads for the new season and while they prepare to bolster and reshuffle, they have also made sure to hold on to the services of some of their key players.

Wayne Arendse:
Arendse was to see his contract with Mamelodi Sundowns come to an end on June 30, this year, however, it was revealed to the Siya crew that the Brazilians have extended the player’s stay for another year.
Bradley Grobler:
As reported in last week’s edition of Soccer Laduma, Grobler’s new three-year deal with SuperSport United will kick in after June 30.
Sibusiso Vilakazi:
The player’s representative, Mike Makaab confirmed to the Siya crew at the beginning of May, that Sundowns have exercised the added two-year option on Vilakazi’s deal.
Gabadinho Mhango and Pumlani Ntshangase:
The Siya crew reported last week that Bidvest Wits have exercised the added one-year options on both Mhango and Ntshangase’s deals.
Siphelele Mthembu:
As reported yesterday by the Siya crew, City have taken up the option on Mthembu’s deal that will keep him at the club for one more season.
There are several players who are yet to have their contracts renewed and it remains to be seen whether clubs will confirm any contract extensions in the coming weeks.
