AmaZulu are scheduled to host Pirates in an Absa Premiership match at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday.
AmaZulu’s general manager Lunga Sokhela says his team is hyped up ahead of their clash with the Buccaneers.
“When you think of fixtures, there is none bigger than this one. AmaZulu versus Orlando Pirates is one of those special fixtures on the PSL calendar. It is one of those games we want to win. It is one of those fixtures that everyone in Durban is raring for. These are two of the oldest and greatest clubs in the PSL,” Sokhela told AmaZulu’s official website.
Ntsikelelo Nyauza scored both goals – an own goal and his team’s goal – in the 1-1 first round draw for the two teams at Orlando Stadium in December.
“People will be coming from all corners of the country to Durban, at the King Zwelithini Stadium on 15 April at 15h00 to witness a clash of giants. Two clubs with great history and the great rivalry between them. The city is hyped up and the two clubs are also hyped up. It is a must see and this is a historical clash – AmaZulu FC versus Orlando Pirates,” concluded Sokhela.
