Gavin Hunt’s team can cement their place as title favourites if they pick up three points against Eric Tinkler’s table-toppers at Cape Town Stadium, with a win taking them up to 47 points – one point ahead of City, with a game in hand.
Battle At The Summit – Tomorrow To Decide League Title?

Four of the league’s current top five will do battle in Tshwane and Cape Town, as SuperSport United face Mamelodi Sundowns and Bidvest Wits travel to Cape Town City, with the results of the encounters helping to determine the destination of the league title.
SuperSport, who were beaten 5-0 by Masandawana in their last league game, need to win their match in order to cling on to their already slim chances of winning the league and defeat would see them fall seven points adrift of Pitso Mosimane’s side in fourth.
Sundowns, meanwhile, are looking to close the gap on Wits and City, now that their games in hand (on the Clever Boys) have been depleted and a win could potentially take them as high as third place if other results go their way.
Lastly, the Citizens can take a big stride towards completing a Leicester City-esque fairytale if they’re able to get one over on Hunt’s men and a win would take them three points clear of Kaizer Chiefs and four ahead of Wits.
Chiefs, meanwhile, will be hoping for a SuperSport win and a draw between City and Wits.
If SuperSport and Sundowns draw and there is a winner between the other two sides then it would certainly put the victor in the driving seat ahead of the last few games, however, if the game in the Western Cape ends with the spoils shared, then Downs could really open up the league race once again.
