With the second half of the 2019/20 Absa Premiership well underway, Soccer Laduma takes a look at the five players at the top of the leaderboards.
AmaZulu FC’s Bongi Ntuli and Orlando Pirates’ Gabadinho Mhango continue to share the number one spot on the top goalscorers charts, with the duo having scored 10 goals each.
While he also forms part of the goalscoring charts, Peter Shalulile, who has scored nine goals so far this season, has had the most shots on target out of anyone else in the league. He has tallied 43 shots, with 17 on target.
Kaizer Chiefs’ Lebogang Manyama is currently leading the assist charts, having made seven so far this season. The midfielder is experiencing a rich vein of form under the mentorship of Head Coach Ernst Middendorp, where he has made 16 league appearances, missing just one.
Elsewhere on the pitch, Mamelodi Sundowns’ Mosa Lebusa has the highest passing accuracy in the league. In 14 Absa Premiership appearances, the 27-year-old has a 88.9% passing accuracy.
In between the goal posts, Ronwen Williams continues with the most clean sheets in the league. The goalkeeper, who has kept eight of them, has conceded just 17 league goals this season, helping his side to stay in the race for the Absa Premiership title.
