The end of season rankings have since been updated for South African clubs, with Kaizer Chiefs continuing their drop from 20th place.
According to the ranking system on Footballdatabase.com, Mamelodi Sundowns remain stagnant at 12th place on the ranking system, having been there for quite some time, with the Brazilians set to try again next season to get in to the top 10.
Orlando Pirates are also slowly creeping closer to the top 10, ending the season on 18th position on the rankings, after falling just two points short of lifting the Absa Premiership title.
Bidvest Wits also remain the third highest ranked South African club on the ranking system, ending off the season in the 21st position.
Chiefs on the other hand, are slipping further down and following their Nedbank Cup final loss, have ended the season at 25th place.
