@Dangerous when provoked Spot On. Soccer has a way to humble you. The reason there was no notable player movements when the window period closed is because the South African player market is overpriced.

Soccer supporters and commentators can be funny. The word "free agent" loosely means the player is no longer contracted to any Professional Team. It has nothing to do with quality. Zungu left Sundowns as a free agent (he is top notch quality), Mphahlele left Sundowns as free agent (he is top notch quality), Yeye left Chiefs as free agent (top notch quality), Billiat and Castro will both leave Sundowns next season as free agents and possible join one of the Soweto Giants.

George Lebese wanted to leave and he was release almost for free if you check his quality. You cant keep a player who is not happy moreso if you keep loaning him out to small teams for more than 3 yrs or seasons. That is murder. "Yoooh this football can kill you, you will die because of football". So says another coach. Kazak, Ntuli and Mngonyama are tired of being loaned out. Why are they not released because they are not required. Are they required. Why loan them for that long. I am not pointing fingers, I am just an Analyst. I am looking at issues and am just commenting. Thats all.

Its good to pump money to improve the standard of soccer and of players but the way it is done now recently is very wrong and it destroys soccer and the very players as well as relationships of the board of directors. Its is wrong to talk to players of other teams and promise them heaven. Not ordinary players but the cream of those clubs. Who are you compete with if you weaken the opposition. Its worse if you just buy every player and have 6 players of the same position. You kill the players and the National team as well as soccer in general. You cant say even Barca and Man Utd does that. They dont.

Indidane can exclusively reveal that Kaizer Chiefs pulled out of the race to sign Tshwarelo Bereng after Chippa United demanded R3.5 million for the services of the midfielder. According to a source close to the dealings, the two clubs had discussions over the sale of Bereng to Naturena before the closing of the transfer window. However, they could not reach an agreement and therefore the player had no choice but to stay at Chippa and honour his contract.
