South Africa's most prestigious youth tournament, the Metrolitan U19 Premier Cup, otherwise known as the Bayhill Tournament, will commence at 15h30 today.
Mzansi’s best young players will lock horns over the course of the next six days as they are whittled down to the final two, with the two best teams playing in Monday’s final.
The opening game will see Beacon Spurs take on Masidlale this afternoon, the first of five matches taking place at Erica Park today, with the hosts, Bayhill United, closing the day when they take on Glenden United at 19h15.
All of the 32 teams involved will battle it out over the next four days, with the knockout stages of the competition then beginning on Saturday.
