Orlando Pirates midfielder, Thandani Ntshumayelo, is not worried about speculation that he could leave Bucs this season, insisting that his future is with Pirates.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been subject of a speculation linking him with a move to Ajax Cape Town as part of a swap deal that would see him and fellow Bucs midfielder, Manti Moholo, going to the Urban Warriors, with Ajax’s Keagan Dolly moving in the opposite direction.
Ntshumayelo, however, insists that he will play for Pirates next season.
“The team has not said anything to me with regards to me moving to Ajax or any other team, so as far as I’m concerned, I will be a Pirates player next season,” Ntshumayelo told the crew.
Ntshumayelo made 24 league appearances and scored one goal for Pirates last season.
He was seen as a long-term replacement for Andile Jali who left for Belgium, but the arrival of Issa Sarr has raised speculation that Ntshumayelo could leave Pirates next season.
It remains to be seen if the Heilbron-born midfielder will remain with Bucs or if he will join another club.
